Mutual of Omaha has named insurance industry veteran Richard Hrabchak as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.

OMAHA, Neb. (June 2, 2016) – Mutual of Omaha has named insurance industry veteran Richard Hrabchak as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.

Hrabchak most recently served as Chief Investment Officer for Prudential Financial’s U.S. Retirement Business. In 29 years at Prudential Financial, Hrabchak held a variety of investment management and finance positions.

As Chief Investment Officer, Hrabchak is responsible for oversight and management of Mutual of Omaha’s investment portfolios.

“In addition to extensive investment and portfolio management experience, Rick brings an impressive leadership style, a strong performance ethic and an appreciation for the culture of mutual insurance companies. I’m confident that he will be an excellent addition to Mutual of Omaha’s executive leadership team,” said Dave Diamond, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

Hrabchak earned his bachelor’s degree from Duke University and received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).

Mutual of Omaha is a full-service, multi-line organization providing insurance, banking and financial products for individuals, businesses and groups throughout the United States.
